Newly cleaned and in good condition with no signs of wear or fading, this Afghan Balouch is handknotted in wool on a wool foundation. A soft bronzy-orange field is overlaid with a deep blue lattice design, creating a rich interplay of tone and structure. The border, adorned with floral motifs echoing the central lattice, ties the composition together with balance and subtle sophistication — a graceful example of Balouch weaving tradition.
