A robust NW Persian village rug, hand-knotted in wool on a cotton foundation, measuring 141 x 338 cm. With its long and narrow format, it works beautifully in a hallway, kitchen/alrum, beside a dining table, or as a decorative anchor in a longer room.

The rug is newly washed and in good condition.

The rug has a strong geometric design with repeated medallions through the central field, framed by richly patterned borders. The colors are warm and characterful, with a red-orange field, deep indigo and black details, ivory highlights, and touches of blue and golden beige in the border.
