Newly cleaned and in very good condition. This classic Persian Bidjar is hand-knotted in wool and silk on a cotton foundation and features the traditional Bidjar medallion design. The palette is grounded in a deep, rich red — characteristic of Bidjar’s dignified tones — complemented by warm brown and beige accents that bring balance and depth to the composition.

True to Bidjar craftsmanship, the rug has a thick and robust structure, offering both durability and a reassuring tactile weight. A fine example of the famed “iron rug of Persia,” combining strength, detail, and timeless elegance.
