Gul

The design invites a story about family and protection. Bold, figure-like motifs stand at both ends of the rug, framing the rows of guls.

The repeated emblems suggest generations connected through a shared weaving tradition, and the hooks recall protective symbols found in traditional textiles. Hand knotted in wool on a wool foundation, the rug has been newly cleaned and is in good condition.

Its gentle earth tones make it easy to place, while its unusual color and expressive pattern give it a character all its own.
