Persian Tabriz Mahi, 50 raj – 253 × 298 cm A finely hand-knotted Persian Tabriz with a traditional Mahi design in warm, earthy colours. The dark brown field is richly patterned with small rosettes, diamond shapes and curved, fish-like leaves in beige, soft gold, olive and muted rust.
Several narrow patterned borders complete the balanced design. The fine 50 raj knotting gives the intricate pattern clear definition.
Its generous proportions and restrained palette make this an elegant rug for a living room or beneath a dining table. Newly cleaned and in good condition.
